I installed a Warn VR EVO 12,000 pound winch onto my Southern Style Offroad bumper. I chose to move the control box rather than cut the grill brace. I think the worst part of the job was actually bolting the winch to the bumper. The front bolts have to be installed before setting the winch onto the bumper as the bolts need to go in on an angle, and then you can only fish an open-end wrench in to tighten the volts due to the underside skid plate on the bumper. It was otherwise just a bit of weight. It looks great and didn't have any impact on the front ride height, which really surprised me.

 

Done with all the mods for now. Maxtrax and pins as the “very last” mods installed... for now. Lol.

 

I said the same thing. I have more money now than I ever have and I haven’t bought one thing in a few months! I’m thinking 2” lift will me my next purchase. But I think I’m gonna wait for a while. Good looking truck.

Just have to finish painting that stupid chrome ring around the grill black and put the grill back on. Awesome bumper,pretty easy install once I grew a pair and made the cuts.

 

Did you happen to measure your before and after height? Looks great BTW.

Still knocking off the little stuff. A/C drip extension and debadged. My wife bought this Bissel steam cleaner with a narrow nozzle that worked great instead of my heat gun.

 

These trucks look so much better without the hideous chrome lettering.

Very nice. Which size awning is that? Looks like there's not a lot of overhang fore or aft the rack.

I've been eyeballing the 2000x2500, but not sure how much wiggling the overhang will get at highway speeds.

There's also the 1250x2100 that seems to be sized more appropriately for the cab of the truck. However I've heard that it's small to the point of just chasing shade when you're trying to use it. No first hand experience though.

Truck is a double cab like yours.

Note that it is not attached to the accessory rail and that the shelf on the two recesses are at the same height which makes leveling it a breeze.

 

received some goodies today. Installed the speakers. Waiting on the hood struts because I want to change up the color first.
