It's from Matty Matheson: A Cookbook. It's the only cookbook we own and everything we've made from it is delicious. Quite an interesting story thoughout too.
The Italian Wedding Soup featured in it is the best thing I've ever cooked.

 

I used gruyere cheese.

Ya know, that trip back in June 2018 was the last time for me. Ive almost got two years in, which is the longest ive gone since i was in the army. For almost half of my life I was a heavy smoker. Sometimes i dream about firing up, then i remember that im not in a place anymore where i can. I need to stay the path until im in a good place again and i can partake.

But boy, do i think about it.

I think my LEO aspirations are pretty much a pipe dream, given that many of the questions they need me to answer "no" too, ill have to answer "yes" and these days the liability just isnt really worth it for most agencies. Why would they risk a 30something year old who had way too much fun when he was younger, when they could invest in a crisp-clean fella who checks all the right boxes. So... theres no REAL reason for me not to partake, other than to land a job in Idaho next year and the fact that ive been on quite the sober streak lately lol
