Has anyone on this thread pressed out a 2nd gen lower ball joint?? The kit you rent from O'Rielly doesnt have the right size of cylinder that you put under the joint-it goes over the BJ and not big enough to go around it. So when you try press it out, it's just working against itself. I really dont want to remove the entire LCA. any help is greatly appreciated.

Try cutting down the bj if that helps? Don’t remember what it looks like on 2nd gen.

honestly sooo much easier to just swap out LCAs. If you're trying to retain OEM LCAs.. I guess thats understandable.. but.. with new LCAs, you also gain new bushings, on top of the ease of work. I'm running NAPA LCAs and havent had any issues.. yet anyways.

Have you tried that whipped coffee that’s all over social media? Definitely a weird concoction.

I’m on the hunt for a new espresso machine. :spy:

Pics below...there's just very little room for the lower cylinder of the BJ press to go around the joint and not directly under it. If this metal supply store cant fashion me the correct sized cylinder i'm SOL i think.
I'm getting closer and closer to doing this. Just trying not to drop $500+ because I'm selling it pretty soon. Do you remember how many miles you had when your swapped the arms out? I've heard of the LCA bolts seizing.

Josh got Napa ones and they worked out good. Pretty cheap I think too.

Moog lca’s on Amazon are $100 a piece. They’re not the best in the world, but if you’re selling soon anyways

Good price for a 13x13, and their return policy kicks ass.

I know we've had this discussion before but does anyone know of wild camping near Sedona that has MTB trail access? All of the "campgrounds" are closed but Im hoping to ride with some friends up there this weekend and camp. I know its a stretch because of how restricted Sedona is. Ive only ever been able to find wild camping farther outside of town.

edit: Im thinking like sneak off the side of Schnebly hill road to access Hangover or something like that.

The gate on Schnebly Hill was closed this weekend. So you could ride down from the rim, but gotta ride back up.
