Resale value post-coronavirus?

Just to be safe, I’m going to vacuum wrap my Tacoma and place it in storage. Too many miles wasted already! What was I thinking!! My financial planner says after factoring in inflation, this 2016 Tacoma with 25,000mi should at least get the kids through college.

if your buying a car/Truck and think you will make a profit and its NOT a classic ur living in dreamland sure there are some cars / truck that hold some Value tacoma FJ and 4Runeers will sell for a good return but buying a Depreciating Asset (Car/Truck).
I have a 2000 Acura NSX could I sell for more than I payed Sure but they only made a limited number every year (I will never sell)
how many Tacoma 3rd Gens,are out there there a dime a dozen just be happy they run like a top and last I will get off my box now

I saw an ad for good discounts and financing options. I sent my info for trade-in. Well, I used to be even with my payoff and trade-in value. They offered me $8k below my previous trade-in value of when I checked 6 months prior.

$6k below TRADE-IN...not RETAIL...on a Toyota Tacoma. One dealer tried to tell me that reason for the low offer was because Toyota has an active recall that has no fix (fuel pump issue that JUST came out in January).

I'm not sure how these dealers are going to help themselves if they gouge customers on their trade-ins.

i was thinking about trading in my 19 limited with 6,500 miles. both carmax and vroom came back at $22,000. i told them both to f*** off and go take advantage of someone else. the place i bought it from offered 33,200.
