PO installed decent speakers front and rear ('16 access cab). Amp under drivers seat. Hi/Los in left kick panel. NOW, I got a pair of the Subaru tweets (w/cap), so I need to wire them in. What colors are the dash tweet wires and where the F are they? Stock non JBL head unit. Do the regular F&R speaker outputs also go to the dash tweets or do they have their own outputs?
Obviously I want to grab all front signals from head unit and route them thru Hi/Los to amp and then back out to speaks. Am I making sense? Where can I grab the front speaker leads BEFORE they hit the dash tweeters and how can I get the amped signals up to the dash tweeters?
Any help/links appreciated. I REALLY don't want to have to remove the entire dashboard.
    Thanks gents

The tweeters and doors are all wired together.

the wires go from the radio to the tweeter, then from the tweeter into the door panel.
If you pull the tweeter out, you’ll see it has 4 wires

Thank you Destin! 4 wires...is that +- tweet and +- front door? If so are the wires that continue to the door just passing thru the connectors or are they connected to the tweeter wires in the connector? I'm trying to get all signals to come from my under seat amp. I got the Subaru tweets so they have caps and I'm assuming can take full signal from amp.

When you unplug the tweeter, you have a harness with 4 wires.
2 of these wires are coming FROM the radio.
2 of these wires are going TO the door.
When the tweeter is plugged in, it creates a “bridge” that connects the door speaker wires in. So if you unplug the tweeter, the door speaker is also disconnected.

Basically, you need to run a pair of wires from the amp to each tweeter location so you can tap into the door speaker set of wires.

    hopefully that all makes sense

Yah, I noticed the ,"bridge" inside the connector.
Yes, that makes perfect sense. Thanks so much for your time.
    Cheers

Does the tweet and door speaker combine specs? I'm not 100% on how bridging works. Curious what the amplifier is pushing in to the two front channels.

They are wired in parallel, so they are getting the power split between them (same as your typical component set, so nothing out of the ordinary)
A few members have removed the rear speakers and run the front 4 speakers in bi-amp mode, so each tweeter and each woofer is on its own amp channel. Takes a little extra wiring, but a great way to increase the sound up front

I finally got mine all set up. I was working with PO's ghetto install. The components were decent, Infinity 6x9 3ways in front, 6" 2 ways in access cab doors. Kicker zx350.4 amp. Money's tight now (thanks covfefe) so I got a pair of kicker Subaru tweeters and new hi/lol converters and rewired everything. PO ghettomaster had stock tweets wired oem inline from HU so not even after amp. Now the tweets and front doors get amp 2 output, rears get amp 1. Adjusted the gains and crossovers. At some point it needs a passive eq before the amp (after hi/Los?) as there are some lame frequencies that I can't fix with the oem hu eq, but it sounds 1000 times better. There's actually some "presence" coming at your face now. Thanks for all your help!
