My choice was between a WRX or a 3rd gen, I didn’t pick the Tacoma. :anonymous:

Toyota owns 20% of them now so only partially. Plus I wanted something fun since my 24 year old Tacoma is still kicking.

I bet that next gen will be a big improvement over my ‘19 :(

naw you did right give them a few years to iron out the street consumer wrinkles. I didn’t realize Toyota owns 20% of them! Although I’m skeptical to compare their durability to Toyota’s, I’m a bit ignorant when it comes to Subaru but according to some gear head friends they get issues around 100k but don’t quote me! :p

People heavily mod them then call them shit when something breaks. Circle of subie life. My one friend had a stock 08 wrx with well over 300k on it before he sold it with zero issues.

    I said don’t quote me! :p

I get the run around from my Toyota dealer for a suspension noise diagnostic because I have Ray 10’s o_O

On a real note though there’s something about an STI that is alluring.

That’s crazy they would point at the wheels as a possible cause. That’s why I won’t even put a mild stage 1 tune for fear of voiding my extended warranty.

If the rumors are true, they are benchmarking the AMG CLA45 and the next gen STI will have around 400 ponies which is nuts.
