Im outta warranty (I have an 05) and i need the TSB done on my rear springs since they are pretty much flat now. I have helper bags in the back right now because of it. I want to get the new springs and possibly get rid of the bags so I can do some wheeling. Im afraid to wheel with the bags in there in fear of ripping them when the truck flexes.

How can I go about getting the dealership to do the TSB when im outta warranty??

    Has anyone been lucky?

you probably wont get it done by the dealer being you are out of warranty. I would just look at getting a set of aftermarket leafs.

I ran into this same issue after getting my Tacoma. I ended up going the OME Dakar route, well thats what I am working on at least. I don't think they will do much for you but it never hurts to ask. JOE>

There are folks who have gotten it done outta warranty...but you gotta just ask the dealership.

You may have an easier time getting springs elsewhere and paying for them. I mean- It'd be nice to have it fixed- but you paid for X amount of warranty and that is up...You didn't have the problem in the time you agreed to..so it's really just a cool dealership if they hook you up.
