I'm running a 3 inch OME (probably more like 2 inch, because of abuse and settling) and I'm currently running 265/75/16's. Little 4 banger deals with it fine. I get roughly 13 liters/100km.

Might want to see your primary care provider before things start falling off. Just kidding. Buy what best fits your particular situation

As a fellow Canadian, cheque, yes.

As a third option to your question OP you could get 265/75R16 Michelin LTX if they exist and keep it stock height. It's a fine look either way.

You're doing it right regardless... waiting until your tires are done.

It depends on if you like the steelies. If you're cool with them, stay budget and get the tires you want.

If want to change the wheels, then you gotta go from there. Personally, I wasn't a fan of my factory wheels, I really wanted Trail Teams, but couldn't justify the cost. Another budget thing you could look at is takeoffs from an Pro, Offroad, Sport (in that order) if you're good with their tires?
