    Yep. I optioned them so I'm pretty certain I'll do fine. Even if they miss earnings I'm betting the guidance they release bumps them a bit. If they beat earnings they might bump a lot.

    I’m debating a strategy of investing into a ton of drug companies and waiting them all out. On the day that each one does something like this I’ll cash out, wait a few weeks and buy back in. Don’t know if it would be a good strategy or not. I’ll have to do some research on it.

    I’m in RI which is higher than Massachusetts by at least 20 to 300 cents consistently. Beyond that, the town right over the border is notoriously low cost in mass.

    I passed 1.99 and then a few hundred feet later passed 1.42 today regular over the border into mass.

    Ended up buying 28 shares of uso at 3.80 we will see how it plays out in the long run. I only get to be around my phone for half the day so it limits my trades.

    edit: glad to see other people were looking into uso

    I’m late to the party but I picked up a few shares of Boeing (I wasn’t sure if I wanted to put that much into stocks) a few WTI, and brought my “play” stock up to an even number before they get back up to their normal price range.
    Keep in mind I’m not anywhere near the investing levels most of you are, I just broke $1K worth of shares today which is statistically nothing, but I’m happy with it for only investing for 4 months.

    Just keep at it and make smart decisions. That takes research and following the market. One thing I always tell people is I don't give a shit how much money you made. I only care about how much percentage you made(or lost). If someone with 100K invested makes 1k that's a 1% return. It may sound like a lot but it's really not. If someone else with 1k invested makes $250 bucks that doesn't sound that great. In reality that's 25% return and they killed it. Start small. learn from your mistakes and profit.
