I've watched some of that guy's stuff before but hadn't seen that one. I'll probably end up watching it tomorrow during "work."

Just looked it up. The drz400 was released in 2000. 20 years, no changes and it still sells. Just crazy.

Yeah Lifan has a decent reputation. It's in a lot of pit bikes and is super popular for switching into other small frame motos.

I've been looking into putting a 140cc lifan into my CT90 for a while now, just haven't pulled the trigger, it never seems worth it when the OG motor still runs.

    Neat.

edit: in retrospect this sounded asshole-y, to be clear I meant it earnestly, I truly think it’s neat haha

if you think that is crazy you should read up on the xr650l

that model has not changed since its debut in the early 90s, that frame had been unchanged since its debut in the mid 80s and the motor has been kept largely the same since the early 80s...

and you can still buy a brand new 2020 model, albeit over 30 years old and unchanged....

That’s what I am saying. Amazing that these companies don’t change anything on their enduro bikes. But their sport bikes, dirtbikes 4 wheelers and side by sides are always the newest and greatest model.

Well, finally contacted the DMV and they said they have the paperwork from the dealership, I was never notified. Just filled out the online registration, took all of 10 mins. @uhplifted how you looking on getting your bike registered?

Luckily I was able to email my dmv asking them if they received the paperwork and they emailed back at 5:30am this morning. Guess they are getting a early start to the day? I also live in a much smaller county than you.
