Oh nice! Yeah I like the way yours looks the most with 2” but I’m worried about offset and getting new wheels and possible tire size change. Right now my offset is -25 or 3.5 bs

A lil this a lil that.
Hoping for some help. I have a line on some 12" king 2.5 triple bypass. The owner was using them for a toyota truck up front. My use would be for the rear..Anyone know if the use would be interchangeable?

Most likely any would work. Just depends on if it will have the “ideal” tube layout. And your willingness to fabricate a hoop to accommodate them :notsure:

I have been happy with the 255/85/16's (tall 33's). Every time I think about switching to 35's I think about all the rubbing that may or may not occur. I have thought about it, and for the ~$2000 expense (wheels, tires) I can't justify it. I would rather buy a set of camburg 4x4 spindles for $1500 first. The 2nd gen tacomas don't have a ton of ground clearance as it is. I might raise my truck by an inch and then have excess wear on steering, drive train. I have been to a lot of places with only 33's and long travel (far more over a stock suspension with bigger tires). I would take suspension articulation over simply big tires any day.

I also love how my truck crawls with 4.56's. I will loose that torque by going to 35's. I have been watching alot of 4wd action on youtube. One guy in the team Grahm, runs 32's on his Dmax and he pretty much has no issues except in deep bog holes (mud pits). That is where 35's tend to shine.

Yeah iv been there and done that with big tires and they sure do work great off-road and look awesome, but as this is my first new truck that actually has good gas mileage and road manners I wanna keep that if I can. At least in my experience I have gone everywhere on 33's that I was able to go on with 35's, maybe just not as easy or fast due to clearance. But my biggest factor is like you said, getting into a loophole of parts I don't really want big brakes, steering racks, third members, rear axle, gas mileage, rubbing everywhere and chopping up my truck as of now. I don't mind that If I have another daily but as I just bought this truck it doesn't make sense to do all that right now, as good as it sounds.
