Sounds great dude! Wish I would have gone that route for sure, you need a super aggressive CMC to clear anything 285 or bigger if your wheels are pretty aggressive specs. Even on road if you sway a bit it touches on mine.

Here are a couple of quick pics. Already a bit of surface rust. Probably will wire brush and do another coat soon.F6C637D1-1BF6-4EBE-8F58-B79214B1DC8D.jpgDF2C7BCE-A4E2-4D97-A84A-A6D311FCE024.jpgB5121E2C-32C0-48D6-8665-28473DC29EC3.jpg

    Thanks
I had to do a fairly deep CMC and cut the hard plastic where the mud flaps mount. Heat the liner around the mount and pinch weld as well as the front bumper. There's a little plastic tab there holding the liner to the bumper that rubbed like crazy.
Now though, rub free at full flex. It's work, but looks so much better than the 255s did.

Thanks, much appreciated. I’ve got a hybrid bumper so hoping they can move the wheels forward a bit.

Thinking of jumping up to 295’s I’m about to do a CMC are you guys running high caster UCA’s to prevent rubbing?

The only time I rubbed on stock UCA’s was when I would reverse at full lock on dips such as driveways. It only slightly grazed.

I’m not too worried about rubbing the UCAs since I’ll be running .75” spacers. It’s more the angles and whether or not they can get the alignment right. Hopefully it works out.

    list is growing fast
I was running tubular UCAs before and switched to SPC’s to get my alignment right.

high caster will actually make you rub more because it moves the wheel back in the well to gain that caster. That’s where SPC’s help. You can max your lower eccentrics out all the way forward, then get your caster and then camber dialed with the adjuatment at the UCA ball joint.

That’s super helpful I’ll definitely look into some SPC’s then!

    Got my tires mounted today.

    Lift 2.25” OME up front.
    Ridge grappler 295/70r17
OEM Sequoia wheels 17x7.5 +15 offset
Wheel spacers: Rear 1.25” Front .75”
    Stock UCA. Caster maxed out.
    CMC

No rubbing so far. Will definitely be upgrading UCAs soon to get better alignment.

Where did you get those spacers? Brand? I am not sure I am going to go to spacers. I do like the aggressive look.

Thanks man! Yeah, I should’ve waited on UCAs cause I’ll have to pay for another alignment when the time comes.

Any recommendations in aggressive AT or MT tires for a 16 inch wheel? I was looking at the ko2’s but I’m hearing they’re not great in deeper snow
