If they only made a cheap single cylinder supermoto. The duke isn’t a bad deal when you can find them new for $4k

Used in the same price range...around $5-7k. Ok I'll check out the 500. Would be nice if it was already on 17s & street tires but I guess that's simple enough to swap out.

I am really leaning towards one of those next. Need to buy it while living in Montana to make it street legal easily.

Sat on one the other day. I still think the wr450f has the advantage if you can get it registered for the street.

its really simple honestly its all trade off, little bit more here vs a little bit more there... the rider with the biggest set of cajones and skill set typically wins time and time again

    :crapstorm:

    1) msrp
    2) service frequency intervals
    3) dry weight
    4) power output
    5) overall reliability

pick any bikes you want and compare those 5 points

ktm is clearly the current top dog
the jap stuff historically has been the top dog
the china stuff for what it is worth will probably serve 50% of the motorcycle community just fine since their ability and terrain simply wont require better components...

ive owned china pit bikes, all sorts of different japanese bikes, and have ridden ktm bikes...

honestly i rather have any one of them over not having anything.... people worry about specifics, just throw a leg over and letteripp. Every each bike has its own special place in the garage!!!

I have a neighbor with some real ugly dirty janky old honda cruiser, guy rides it almost 365 days a year here on long island.

the thing is sooo sooo soo beyond ugly, but the guy logs more miles than anyone I know...

just the way life is, like my friend with his gt3 who refuses to auto cross but my other friend with a miata drives piss out of it on and off the track day in and day out... so who is faster, and who has a better car :argue: :notsure:

Where did you get it from? Was it a custom length?

    Ktm owns gasgas now.

Both great brands without a doubt but small dealer networks which means getting parts is more timely.

Another brand to look at is sherco. They are becoming a lot more popular as well as TM.

Ordered on ebay. My last 48, I had a 29" line. It was a little too long that time. So this time around I went with a 27" line. I have to get 2 lines - an upper and a lower, because my bike has ABS (and the last one did too). Was $54 for the polished lower, and $55 for the black upper.

You can see the line in my picture on the last bike, was pretty long. Hoping this one is perfect. The bars are 0.5" taller. TC Bros Speedline vs the previous Biltwell Frisco

I would measure it and then check out ebay. Maybe @LocoLocal has a spare line to sell too

    Thanks, David.

Yeh, I have a two spare brake lines. One is for 16" bars, one for 14". The 14" is BNIB. I would think that either would work for your bike because even though your bars are 12" you have the riser that adds a couple inches. Shoot me a PM if you want to discuss. I have too many spare parts in my garage! 2 extra rear fenders, 2 extra brake lights, 2 sets of handlebars, forward controls, pegs, grips, primary covers, a seat, just to name a few...
