I think my cat is sick. She is going to the bathroom in the litter box often with very little pee. She's more agitated than normal.
She's got a good appetite just something doesn't feel right.

Sounds like when my dad's cat started developing crystals in her kidneys.

If your vet is open, I suggest a visit soonest to rule that out.

I'm waiting for a call back from the vet. Can they get crystals at 3 years old?

Dunno. Not a vet. Can't remember when Tigger got hers - 7 or 8 I think. They put her on a special food and she was great until she passed at 16.

If l recall correctly. One of our cats got that when l was a kid. The vet gave him medication and we changed his food.

If take her to the vet sooner rather than laterm. They are painful.

When the vet calls, if they can’t get her right in, ask if extra virgin olive oil, lemon juice and apple cider vinegar is safe for cats. It’s what I use on myself. I have kidney stones. Bad. Three times in the hospital. None since I discovered this mix. 1oz of each for people and gulp it down. Anytime I have pain I drink this and haven’t been to the hospital in years now. If the vet gives the ok, mix a batch and shoot it down her throat with an eye dropper or something like that. It is truly a gift from God for me. Good luck.

    Cats are good for something!

They taught my dog to bury his poop. I kid you not. The whole family independently confirmed this behavior. I mean not the usual head fake feet scraping. I mean really burying it. Fascinating. Dog is over 15, and never did this before.

I agree that its likely a urinary tract infection. It could be struvite crystals, but that doesn't typically come on out of nowhere - you would probably know if she had them long before 3 years of age. One of our cats has trouble with them, but it's been an issue since she was little. UTIs can be very bad for cats, and can turn into renal infections and ultimately impact their life expectancy. I really hope your vet can see her soon. Ours is locked-down too, but they are offering curbside service for emergencies. There's got to be one that can help. And I respectfully disagree with trying household remedies, particularly as you don't know what is wrong.

    Please keep us posted :fingerscrossed:

Just got back from the vet it was a UTI. They gave her an antibiotic shot that supposed to last 2 weeks.
This is a cats only clinic I go to and they wouldn't even let me inside. They came out got my cat fixed her up brought her back to the truck.
