    Hm it’s 00:42 20200421

what is time and what are days? The all seem irrelevant now. Things just happen when they do.

I prefer this format : 20200421004200 (separators optional 2020-04-21-00:42:00) or even more simplified by using the Julian date 2020-122-00:42:00 From left to right it runs least to most precise. It brings some level of order to an archaic date time system.

Yeah usually I don’t put the time lol

Year month date makes so much more sense than month date year. Makes it so much easier to find things when looking through files / folders.

Agree. Especially after working from home for so long, you do stuff when you want to, time is irrelevant

I agree and disagree. Time is just an axis in space that we travel along. It is measurable and meaningful. Time is also malleable but that gets messy. The date, how we track time and use it to oppress each other is man made and sucks.

Maybe from a sorting standpoint, but from a mental standpoint, since the set of months numbers 12 total, then days (28-31) then years (give or take, infinite) it makes sense to use month day year.

At least the numbering is consistent, you are just changing the order... hmm sounds familiar

But with that logic what I had makes the most sense based on time, not the count.

Year (largest) month (next largest) day (smallest)

then If you wanna get real fancy throw in time for even smaller intervals

Month Day Year has never made any sense to me and I find it really annoying. Day Month Year is fine

@OperatorOneNine you are missing all the drama in the tuning thread. Bunch of goons who don’t understand direct and port injection arguing over for almost 24 hours now.
