Oh nice! I was in the same boat. I wasn't planning to get them, but saw archive's thread this morning so I started thinking about getting hangers (replacing my whole suspension in 2 weeks so might as well). Then bam, this thread pop up when I got home and before my wallet knew anything, money was gone.

Okay.... I have my axle off and about to start grinding the rivets. I also have a @Relentless HC bumper that mounts really close to the rear top rivets. Did anyone have to remove their HC bumper to get those rivets off? Just trying to reduce the amount of cussing.....

I didn't have a HC when I removed the stock hangers. When I installed the BAMF hangers, I have a Pelfrey HC and I didn't have to remove it to install them.

So roughly how long did it take to get the rivets off with the HC bumper on?

    A few things
I did mine with my brute force hc on with no problems. The rivets are not hard do drill out. Dont over think it, literally a minute or two per rivet once you have the head ground off

Sorry. I should have specified. Way back, I installed a shackle flip kit. Stock bumper and stock hangers. Ordered BAMF's hangers and swapped the shackle flip for the BAMF hangers while running a pelfrey HC. I didn't remove the HC bumper to upgrade from the shackle flip to BAMF hangers. Swapping from the shackle flip kit to the BAMF hangers was a breeze since the rivets were long gone for years.

It's hard to tell what's going on exactly from the pics, but I've installed 3 other hanger sets on different trucks, all with HC bumpers on. It's a little tight but it's definitely manageable.

You can cut the hangers to give yourself more room. That's what im planning to do.
