What are your thoughts on Bozeman? Considering a move in the next few years and really liked it there.

It was a combination of things, mainly the mosquitoes were terrible and we couldn’t use the good stuff on Haley. I think after your dog came towards me with his head down ears up and I said something to you you had him leashed up after that, I appreciated that. It was great meeting you and hanging out for a night.

Enough to make it a lot of fun!
But fishing is fun and we wheeled to our fishing locations.

I didn’t have a fishing license and no way was I going to watch Bret fish all day. Also Haley was too young to fish. Impossible to keep a 2 year old occupied all day while you guys fished. Sucked that the Morrison Jeep trail was closed, we would have stayed for that.

He barks at them, just like some adults. I think it's his way of saying leave me alone while I judge you and figure out who you are. He's never been vicious but has nipped, never bitten, at people. Wish I knew what his life was before I got him. I can't seem to figure out what it is that he's best friends with some people right away and others he's very cautious of.

I just can’t wait for my kids to get old enough to take on multi day camping trips. Haley is starting to love playing outside and she loves going fishing but that entails me doing everything for her with her little fishing pole that has a rubber fish on it. Main thing right now is making sure she doesn’t wander into the water and drowning. She also doesn’t “fish” for more than 5 minutes before she wants to do something else.

As for dogs. She doesn’t know that she can’t walk up to random dogs and touch their faces.

And it starts all over again with Colt...

Bozeman is an interesting place, it’s the next Colorado for sure. Everybody is moving here from california and Colorado. Here is a look at our current housing market.

That's what I expected, and the market is pretty much identical here so it would be a lateral move.

Truck is done and was back together, exhaust, skids, sticks etc. wrapped up and was getting ready for a trip this past weekend, while doing a final inspection I gave the driveshaft a shake to find that the rear tcase flange had some play in it. After a call to Atlas I discovered that Highangle Driveline doesn't know as much about Atlas as they claimed, the flange design was modified several years ago to counter bore the splined section to accommodate a change in design of the case and as a result was not properly tightening on the bearing. So shipped the flange back to Highangle for some additional machining and made it very clear that I needed it back by Wednesday so I could get it back together to leave for a trip on Thursday, which Jesse over there said would be no problem. Confirmed with him on Monday the machining was done and he would ship it that day to get to me on Wednesday. Wednesday comes and goes, call Jesse Thursday morning to ask for the tracking number and he says he isn't in the shop yet but will text it to me, hours go by, nothing. Call and call and call with no answer, leave messages, no call back so I pull the plug on wheeling and go fishing instead. Flange shows up Friday afternoon still with no contact from Jesse. Fuck that guy.

So, I will put the flange on tonight and make sure everything is good to go. Hopefully take her out for a test lap this weekend.

Lots lol. I'm sure this is a combo of the motor, trans and body mounts being poly, but it is very vibraty at idle and startup, smooths out once up in the RPMs.

Yeah I was pretty pissed, he was 100% screening the calls and dodging me. D bag. Before that he was very responsive, my guess is he realized he fucked me and didn't want to face up.

Flange situation is still fucked, still has play in it even with the counter bore, so AA is sending me a new triple drilled to see if that tightens everything up. If it does I’ll get a new flange on the drive shaft to match one of the patterns, should have just done this from the get-go.

Shifters came out great, I’ll do a custom boot eventually, but this setup isn’t too bad for now.

Exhaust is done and I got the cat above the frame, now a fully flat belly to the gas tank.

From Advance, you get 3% of your purchase back as "points" to use at AA so got those billet knobs for free with my points.

I was hoping they would be more of a King blue, but oh well. Maybe they’ll fade and lighten up a bit.
