Does it blow with the switch in the on or off position (or both)? I'd check your red (hot) wire from the battery to the lights to make sure you aren't shorting it on the frame somewhere.

Taking a closer look at your pictures, I'd check for chaffing right there:

Looks like it was working fine when you first installed it... not you're having issues. Again... screams chaffing to me. Follow your red wire and see if you've rubbed off the coating.

I traced the whole line and no chaffing.

Just pulled the entire electrical line off the mounting area and checked it. Its not chaffed at all. I put a fuse in again and hooked it up and as soon as i hit the switch to turn it on it blows.

Is the switch bolted to the engine bay? only thing I can think of is that the switch itself is grounding, causing the short.

I removed the switch and let it free hang and it blew again.

    What in the world...
So, since we know the fuse stays put when the switch is in OFF, but when you put it to ON it blows immediately.
You said none of the wires are chaffed, so it can't be a short from there.
The only other thing I could possibly imagine is the LED strip being bad. If you have a multi-meter, can you check for continuity between the + and - rails of the LED strip?

I've never done anything like that, you are making a lot of sense but I'm really new to the wiring and such and have no idea how to do that. I just pulled everything apart except the led's themselves. I'm gonna check everything again and see how it goes.

Its strange cause it worked last night and I got pics of it. Then this morning it isn't.

Don't worry, we will get you through this. Once you understand wiring stuff it becomes quite simple.

Worst case scenario, take it all down and try to run it with a 9V battery or something to make sure it all works. If that works, hook it to the car battery without installing it to make sure it works again. Final step would be to re-install it.

Great. Still works then. Try adding the switch to it.
