The only times ive crashed *KNOCK ON WOOD* is at the track a couple of times. Both lowsides thankfully. My buddy high-sided, put his hand out to stop himself, and the end of the bar came down on it. 10 surgeries later.. still fucked up. At least he has a cool story.

That thing got snow tires?

 

I hit a open manhole in high school.
I think I was doing pretty good tuckin and rollin until the bike landed on top of me.
Then the road rash and stitches came into play.
Anytime anyone goes down it’s bad but a hi side or over the bars is so much worse.

No snow tires but I did try the studded dirtbike racing on the ice, did not like.. those guys are nuckin futs.
Was just emptying the garage to clean a bit a few months back.

Protocol at the track is to curl in a ball on the pavement and dont move until they flag everyone. Otherwise youre like a squirrel but with 150mph shit coming at you. I cringe when I see people riding without gear on. But to quote one of the guys I fly with: “its your right to die”

 

I watched some video of Chris Harris drifting Porsches on some frozen lake track in Norway. Looked absurdly fun.

On a dirt bike that sounds terrifying. My insurance isn't good enough for that. Or my moto skills

Been cutting down, limbing and bucking up trees since Sunday. Solid work.

Had some leaners that were concerning, but a rope come-along and a shackle does wonders to persuade them to go where you want.
