I wonder if a inner tube patch rubber cemented to the intercooler hose would suffice.

oh, to protect it from coming through that metal that needs cut? It’s going to be aluminum at that point. That third picture shows it, the silicone stops about 3/4” before the metal.

I’m sure there’s a robust pennies on the dollar secondary market that’ll be happy to take it off your hands.

Oh so you're going with aluminum 90's? I figured you were going with tubing and rubbing on the headlights would cause a hole

oh ok, I see what you’re saying now. I misinterpreted. It juuuust touched the headlights, even if it were to rub it would only be 1/10 of the silicone thickness. I’m not putting anything in there, not concerned once it’s mounted solid and not moving.

fair enough. Once I open it back up I’ll see if I can drop the intercooler down another 1/4-1/2”, that’ll get it off the headlight assembly. Thanks for looking out.

So to confirm, we're going to need to cut holes to make space for the pipes to head back into the engine bay?

I plan to. Curious to hear if OV snuck in there without cutting metal.

Right, but the piping route could potentially still be viable with TR1035 or TR10C perhaps is what I was wondering

I would think with some miscellaneous pieces of tubing you could *probably* get it to go through the same holes.
