I don’t really want to just get rid of it. It’s not really in my way. Just been waiting for the right person to pass it along to. You know?

Here's the 2555 I had. I used it to bale hay for my dad, it was nice but I didn't need it and sold it several years ago. He's since quit farming because of major back problems.

Fastenall. If there is a Fastenall nearby they will ship anything palletized to another of their locations for cheap since they do their own inventory transfers

yep...I’ve used Fastenal shipping a lot. Pretty easy...go to website and find the shipping link...you’ll submit the from store and to store, weight, dimensions, and a picture preferably palletized already, then they will email you a quote to accept. Then you drop at the From store.

Same. I love how versatile the modern compact diesels are, but when we have more land I'm definitely buying an old pre-1960 Ford to haul firewood, plow up a larger garden, and possibly hay with.

I had kinda been looking for a corn planter a few years ago. My wife made a get well basket for a friends wife, they are older and I've known them my whole life. He's always trading on stuff. I took the basket over to her one day a couple years ago and was talking to him in their kitchen and saw this corn planter in his shed and ask him how much. He said $100. SOLD!

Had to make a new fertilizer ring, went with stainless.

    IMG_4710.jpg IMG_4728.jpg IMG_4729.jpg IMG_4730.jpg

Had to make a fast hitch point too.

    IMG_4670.jpg IMG_4671.jpg

Took it apart and had my buddy who owns the powdercoat place run his magic on it.

Here’s mine the year I bought it. Ain’t as pretty as yours but it works good. I planted the first planting of sweet corn with it the other day.

How did the bush hog work being hydraulic driven? I’ve never used one like that.

the bush hog attachment is actually mine and it’s awesome!! It’s made by Bushmaster and has a diamond shaped carrier called “The Devastator” and it obliterates vegetation!

The deck is cut so the blade actually swings out beyond the deck to cut small trees, brush etc.

What I love most is I can turn it up vertically and limb a tree as high as the machine can reach.

I’ve used multiple Fecon type mulching heads, and they DO have a use but are expensive. That Bushmaster I can destroy 5 times over before reaching the Fecon costs.

I’ve given it serious hell, and it is bulletproof.

I had a Gehl skid steer and 5 other attachments...sold the machine and this is the only one I kept.

low res 2.jpg Thanks, me too. It's a fun hobby, here's another I did with my Dad a year or two back (think this one is a 69 model, one of the rare "patio" tractors)
