Have all day but dont dont want to crack into shit and not have tools when im the only one home haha. I think ubj, spindle, rotor are only things i have to disconnect. Thing is idk if like ubj needs a specific torque and dont have a torque wrench so would need to grab with the coil compressor

The shittybuilt stuff is Chinese stuff just like the other big name cheap crap. They're just like the harbor freight winches.
So all those winches being Chinese garb with different names on it, get whatever is cheapest and and will be easiest to return when/if you have a failure
Edit:not that they're actually garbage, I'm sure they'll pull fine and stuf. Just meant cheaper stuff

Sounds like HF is the way to go then. I’ve only ever actually NEEDED a winch like twice in my life. But I’ve had plenty of times having one would have been much faster than a good ole shovel

Yep, for those types of purposes I'll bet you'd be more than happy with one of those cheaper winches

Some with the bigger names are built to a higher standard but that's just imo. It's your truck and your money

That's only if you pay for it. They also sell cheaper versions (Warn VR series) that are assembled in china and are comparable to Smitty and HF.

That is true. But those names aren't smittybuilt. So since a cheap Chinese winch will work for his needs, smittybuilt, badlands, any of those decent cheap Chinese winches will work for him.
Don't worry man, smittybuilt is in the group with the decent cheap Chinese ones. :D
