Yeah I thought they were all slightly wider than the early ones, but I guess just the limited are extra wide

Yeah, its a lot better than the Suburban, 9-12 mpg. Though it goes up to ~18 at 80 mph, but only 14 at 65 (somehow if mph goes up, mpg does too idk)

Probably a sweet spot in the gearing.

I think our tacoma's have something similar.

Once I break 80 kilometres per hour :canada: my rpm's jump down to about 1600-1700 rpms and then I can usually just cruise along in whatever gear that is and seem to get decent mileage.

Should note I have an automatic transmission.

it only happens when you’ve been sitting at that speed for a while, like when we did 12+ hour drives to Boy Scout camp, as @Vaushaus said, probably a sweet spot. Learning how to drive and park in that was probably the best thing my parents could have done for me. We call it our UAV (urban assault vehicle)

I can get solid 16mpg doing 75mph. Get into the 80s (no head wind) and it drops to 13-15. Steady 60mph and it'll jump to 18. Amazing the small margin of RPM vs speed vs brick wind resistance. I've played around on the 80mph section of i20 in TX. At 85-90mph, pedal to the floor, and losing speed I can Ricky Bobby 'slingshot' 18 wheelers. Veer a little left or right, depending on side wind, and catch the draft off of the trailer. While WOT, lose 5-10mph on the uphill, draft a truck, and get back to 90 before passing all while being on the same grade.

3rz with 33s, plate bumper, and a topper. I hit 110 coming down a big hill once.

But need help with the front end, threw in a supposedly 2” leveling puck which didn’t do much, has Bilstein 4600 in the rear from the previous owner. What coilover kit do y’all recommend. Been ready a lot about the Bilstein 5100 and I like them a lot. But just don’t know about what springs to run. Help will be much appreciated.

I have 5100's on my tundra and love them, used the stock coils on the highest "lift" and its perfectly level and rides just as good

bilstein 5100 can work with stock coils on a higher level to give you the lift, or you can get OME coils. for stock height 880 works and if you're not planning on running a front bumper or winch than the 881 will give you a ~2" lift
