I just bought my 2018 Tacoma used from a dealer and noticed that there's a bracket mounted above the radio, but nothing else with it. Can anyone identify if this is a bracket for mounting something or part of the dash is missing? If a bracket for mounting, can you tell whos brand or someone I could contact?

    Thanks for your help.

Thats an aftermarket DMM bracket that uses ram ball mount for your phone etc. They drilled that upper plastic surround to install it.

Its probably the best accessory for mounting phones, radar detectors, radios, etc. You just need to get a ram ball and mount and screw it in.

    Center console organizer.
Looks like you'll need to cut these out if you want to run a power wire from behind there. You can use a file or if you have steady hands... a dremel.

how did you even find it? If I hadn't installed one myself I would have no clue there was anything there.

Just happened to be cleaning the dash and noticed it. I figured it was a bracket to something and that the previous owner had removed something. I wanted to reach out and see what everyone said and try and buy what's needed to complete it.
