What Have You Done To Your 3rd Gen Today?

Got my lift, only had to chase down my UPS driver to get it. Now I just need a sunny day or a garage.

 

$115 including delivery. I’m sure I could have got it cheaper if I could have sourced the aluminum from a local shop. But most places want you to buy a whole sheet, and no scrap in this size.

The steps STILL aren't here. A notification from Amazon said to contact them today for a refund or replacement. Not surprisingly, since the steps were a Warehouse deal, they don't want to replace them with new. Before I have them refunded, I now have a claim in with UPS to find the box that has been sitting 4 hours away for the last 6 days.

Not looking good.

 

It's all good, sometimes it's better to just move on.

 

I went ahead and installed the additional rail behind the cab and threw on some Rago Fabrication Maxtrax Recovery Board Mounts. I need to swap the mounting pins from my Prinsu Load Panels to the new mounts.

 

I downloaded the App but haven’t had the chance to use it yet GTK it works well.

 

Can you add waypoints and export them as kmz or kml for Google Earth?

 

So i'm getting a King size mattress and boxspring. How well does it fit in the truck? Anyone do this or is it too big on a short bed

Where did you purchase them already set up?

 

Don't quote me on this because it's early in the game but I believe you can. the dual unit has a tracking feature but I don't know how to access it yet. You can also do route planning and some other stuff. I'd go to both websites and check it out. Bottom line is it's very cool, and cheap.

It *can* be done, if you stand the boxes upright and strap the mattress to that, then stabilize with more straps. But its much easier (and more protection against the weather) if you rent a 5x8 box trailer....

If you're only going a few miles you could get away with it if tied down securely. I hauled a Queen sized mattress from the store to home, about 3 miles. It hung over but wasn't an issue in that short of a trip.

Thats why I have a full size truck in addition to the Tacoma's lol. In all seriousness you can do it just need use finesse.

Enough of the only chrome trim on my 2018 PRO. I matte blacked my tailpipe using Eastwood 2K spray paint epoxy . Came out great.

 

Wow that paint looks great, I'm going to re-do mine as its been about 3 years and the paint is coming off. Here is a vid I did with caliper paint, but yours look fantastic!!!!!! Can you tell me what you used to paint yours? Did you powdercoat them?
