I thought about doing that but figured I'd be better off getting the money later, less likely to spend it that way. I'm also waiting for the IRS got hacked, and now the hackers have your info story to come out.

I did precisely the same, and check the website every day, and no updates. My sister is unemployed and it’s giving her an error when she enters her info, so I’m counting myself lucky. And yeah, my adjusted 2019 income, filed in Feb was right under 75k so it will be the full 1200, but since my adjusted income in 2020 will be somewhere around 85k plus investments I’ll end up owing a good amount of the stimulus back on my 2020 taxes. If I understand the rules correctly, the stimulus is supposed to pay you based on your 2020 projected income, so if you make more in 2020 than the IRS thought you would then you’ll owe some of the stimulus back. I’m expecting to owe somewhere between $400-$500 of it back come tax season 2021.

Yeah I’m worried about that too. Government website change put up in a hurry... sounds like a recipe for disaster.

$0. I'm not eligible. I also received $0 of my federal taxes yet which I filed in February. I'm thinking my tax return is going towards these stimulus payments.

    Full 1200 here.

Keeping it in the bank until this whole BS washes over and I can (hopefully) go back to work.

When and if everything returns to normal, I’ll be buying some UCA’s and leaf pack so I can take my lift from 2’’ to 3’’.

My wife is an accountant and does our taxes. I have not done anything related to taxes myself in years. All I do is sign the forms every year. If uncle sam sends me anything I'm pretty sure I'm never going to see it. I'm ok with that because I don't have to do taxes :^)

I started buying standard maximum IRAs every year to lower my taxable income, im pretty sure I can start drawing on those at 591/2 years old without penalty so I look at that as a win win, also I got a deduction for still saving for my retirement at my age from the Gov't some how this year was surprised at that

I wouldn't mind some stimulation, but I don't fall into any of the categories that get $$$. If only I made millions a year I would qualify to get 1.8mil back

I got 2 non functioning COVID19 relief issues, the state I live in is not adding in the $600 extra Covid relief payment to my unemployment due to an issue with following the Federal guidelines that were sent to them twice, the money for it was available March 27, no answers on when its going to start to be available. Seems about 29 states have gotten out those payments so far.

I have many issues with how the government decides who gets what but I will bite my tongue in fear of being banned. Hang in there brother. I hope they get you squared away soon. So many people are feeling the pinch but like all things , this too shall pass.

Got $0, still working, deemed essential, and apparently too well off, which in Massachusetts also means just covering bills but not severely in debt
