Oh I never said it’ll do it... I’m well aware the auto will run 4th nearly all the time lol mine would bounce between 3/4 trying to maintain 70.

I’ve towed a bunch with my MT and it’ll hold 5th no problem unless you have a real steep grade (Colorado). I had about 3500 lbs of trailer I took all over the western US.

If it is the misfire from initial start, that is from the start up change.

If you are getting them on cold engine driving, I need to know because included the VVT fixes we previously tested.

It's about impossible for the truck to not be in 4th gear uphill not towing anything but it's own weight! haha

    You'll see.
Now, can you explain how average Joe can fix this VVT using magic app?
I'm not being a dick here, just want to understand the whole "tune yourself if you dont like it" BS.
    Thanks

There is a distinct difference between a legitimate issue that needs addressed (like misfires) and a "I don't agree with this."

any legitimate issue, concern, or tweak that is needed will be done.

But if we get down to things like not agreeing with direct injection usage, or throttle tip in, or shift points, that is not an actual problem, that's just user preference, and I leave that to vF tuner.

    Probably his name? Vladimir?

I'm confused. How come the rest of us have to wait on a reply using zendesk. But other complain on here and get a instant reply?

Cause things are not done if you "properly" submit tickets with the DATA for months and no remedy.
What to see all my emails with the DATA since 1.05?
The issue is still present in 2.0
    Think about it.
FYI, I dont bitch about tip in, tire size, 3/4 shift, wot, etc.
    I dont give a f about it.
I just want to make sure my truck on this or other tune in EVERY REGION OF OPERATION doesn't display any abnormalities.
What is abnormal, it's up to you.

Correct me if im wrong, but isnt the cleaning cycle when the engine gets annoying and clacky intermittently? If so...the 2.0 for the MT still definitely cleans, for me anyway. edit...i know it isnt a MT discussion....just seeing what difference would have been made to make this an AT testing issue.

Perception is reality. Unfortunately your intent to squash BS on this thread makes it look like whiners and complainers get special attention and have the ability to influence your business decisions.

I am a happy customer and am in for long haul, to include a base turbo kit. However, I’d really like to see people like Vlady temporarily restricted from posting in this thread - it’s one thing to document a complaint, but the banter should be squashed along with the BS. People like that create unplanned interruptions and disrupt progress.

We don't just update tunes automatically on the fly all the time an issue is found. We work on fixing this issue + other work that has been done.

Maybe our tune just isn't for you, and you should take it to a local tuner or try it yourself.
As I said, I put the same vvt settings that was tested with you in that 2.0 file.

Do you even know what is normal and abnormal operation on this truck? Outside of misfires, what else is abnormal?

You aren't exactly presenting ideal data. Convoluted screenshots that I cannot interpret exactly what is going on, and injecting nothing but opinion on top of it and basing that opinion on previous files. Or based on well I read that maybe carbon build up etc.

Now if you said hey I am seeing misfires again, and have a cold start issue can you please look into it, that is actually more helpful than you trying to tell me what is right or wrong with what I do based on your opinions.

I don't have the ability to block people from the thread, restrict posts, etc.

I believe there are a few different cycles that generate noises. Like the middle of the night fuel pressure test. I think the one that you are talking about is the DI injector cleaning cycle that can sound like a diesel motor at idle.

PI is just a normal multiport EFI system. Sometime the change over between PI and DI can be detected, but otherwise, it should be smooth and silent.

With all the bitching, clearly he thinks you're ruining his truck, then why does he still run your product? I don't get it.
    Don't like it, move on.
