    Old news :boink:

They still bested multiple popular options at the same price point though.

No clue when Warn discontinued the XD8000i but mine is still going strong. It's gotta be at least 10 years old, probably closer to 15+

Lots of things are made in china that no one really complains about.

China is perfectly capable of making stuff to whatever quality the owner requires of them. The problem is that many companies don't really care about qa/qc, just as long as it's cheap. So when left to their own "whatever is cheapest" devices, you're going to get some crap.

We could talk about certain factories in China having suicide nets, but Iphone owners don't seem to really care about that.

Well, I busted out the ramps in the driveway, stacked my traction boards under them, reversed one back tire on at a time and it looks like my rear wheels will clear the bedsides after all. Not by much but the axle actually seems to swing a bit forward when it goes up which is good.

Didn't get to fully stuff the wheels but I think I'll actually be ok with it how it is, will have to take it offroad soon to be 100% sure.

It's a relief, was not looking forward to having to tear into the leafs again

Just like with the Warn winches, they're designed here. People in foreign countries just assemble the parts.

The main problem with the made in china crap are the cheap knock off products that Chinese manufacturers produce without regard to copyrights.

Most of the off brand stuff is made in the same factory too. I’ve got a vendor for my GM Delphi/Weatherpack connectors for my horns in China, and the connectors I got were all stamped “Delphi”.

I pay $0.45 per connector instead of the close to $7.00 Mouser wants, or the $25.00 the GM dealer wants.

They haven’t been made in the U.S. since the early 1990’s when they were still a relatively respectable company.

A couple of these will automatically take care of any fender clearance issues you might have.
