I apologize to @JLee, his family and employees, to @tcBob and to everyone else I riled up. I mistakenly thought my 1st Instagram post was justified, but it was an attack, and then I got worse. Despite deleting all posts, the words can't be taken back, and apologies don't fix much, but the right course is to openly admit that my actions were very wrong.

I lost track thousands of dollars ago.
Apologies accepted, All differences aside I thought you were a better person than those posts so I was surprised to see that from you, but we have only talked via the internet. I try and run my business honest, as I like to think most small business owners do. What I gain from this is a sharper pencil knowing that the competition is buying our products to pick them apart."thanks for the order"
I'm glad we can squash this little ordeal as there is only two of us providing this modification. There is plenty of potential customers for us both to be backed up with back orders without us at each others throats. Both of our kits work from the customer feed back and work well and both made in :oldglory: so whats to fight about:cheers:

So i just went through this with Deaver.
My stage II leaf pack had 10 leafs and was 2 3/4" thick.
My Stage III leaf pack has 9 leafs and is 3" thick.

So the Stage III has less leafs but thicker material overall. I spoke to Deaver directly and they said leaf count changes based on the material thickness they use.

I can second this. I had a 9-leaf stage 2 that was 2.75" thick. I replaced that with a stage 1, that also has 9 leafs, but is only 2.5" thick.

OK, good to know. This would line up with what's posted on their website. I sent in a question to Deaver, but have yet to receive a response. Based on your reply, I'm assuming you just ordered a new pack? If so, who did you end up ordering it from?

    Thanks,

Is that a custom pack? or a standard U402 Stage 3? What's the overall thickness.

Thank you for posting for the benefit of all and explaining this. It has changed since I discussed with Deaver a couple years ago, and I think for the better

So @Bertw192 and I have had bad luck between two different vendors. I won't throw them under the bus so I'll just say that the last pack I ordered (which went through correctly and received correctly) was directly with Camberg Engineering.

One more question for you. Did you just buy off their website or talk to someone? I assume there isn't anything super special about them (leaf pack), kind of a one size fits all.

When I bought mine recently I called them and then picked up in person. The person I talked to was about to answer my questions about use case and the price was less than the retailers local to me.
