dude, I think your truck is the one with issues, which is way more likely.

 

Towing my pontoon boat and trailer (400 lbs) with a bed of gear (100-150lbs) I still get 19 on long drives. However, I do run 255/75/ r17's which helps with mpgs compared to 285's. The tune produces consistent mpgs for me hands down

 

That's correct.
I have not driven much since 1st week of March
I loaded it back on Sunday and it was excessive

 

Do you have added weight? I have stock gearing with 285/70/17 and I’m getting 21mpg average. I don’t have any added weight though.

okay so let me make sure I fully understand.

What you told me in February is actually no longer accurate, and your truck is misfiring again, on that same file...
or
your truck was misfiring on and off again with that file since that time and you never told me. Because I implemented changes based on your data.

Misfired alot after loading vvt fix version back on Sunday.

In the same area. Startup to 1st 5 min of the drive.
Before sunday it was somewhat consistent.
Depends on how many I get on startup. Startup numbers were somewhere from 2 to 5.

 

It's your truck man. Just face it. My 2016 has NONE of these issues and runs like a champ.

id get 8-10 in my auto. with the MT im typically 12-14 pulling the same load.

Sort of random set of questions for @OVTune : What are your thoughts on the new coil packs for our engines that Ripp Superchargers is planning to start selling within the next few months, in regards to your tune(s)? They claim 10-20hp gains, etc. Would changes be required to the tune(s), something to fiddle with in vF software before install, etc.?
