We live next to Jocomo; I have yet to be all the way around it. There are a lot of nice lakes around here so I hear. We don't get out much

Oh right. I keep forgetting that BS Lake and Jacomo are separate lakes.

Too much front brake is always a good time.

I don't put myself in any sort of tall grass in the shade if I can avoid it. Did a mural for some guys who didnt mow their property and ended up covered head to toe in chigger bites 2 years ago. Still have scars. Turns out im a bit allergic, and having a bad heart I can't take steroids so. That was a magical couple of weeks.
I'd rather get chased by a swarm of bees.

I wrapped the center portion of the grill last night to see if I liked it. Kind of took the idea off tacodust's truck. Took too long so will probably leave it on for a while haha

Those might have been oak mites. The bites stick around waaaaay longer and we had a bloom of them a few years ago.

Okay hold up. I ride at least one of the northland singletrack loops almost daily. I'm actually headed to Bike Stop today to look at a new bike and get my wheels trued. Any recommendations for good shops on your side? I'm in the market for a new trail bike, my XC isn't cutting it anymore.

Do you guys do singletrack or the paved level type trails? I can vouch for the tailgate pad method of transportation because it's what I use. It beats the heck out of removing the wheel for the clamp type.

Cool beans. I'll check them out. I've been riding the same Gary Fisher Marlin for like 15 years that has all the upgrades it can handle and it's time for me to move on from that style. Plus, I took a big dive on it last year and I'm not convinced the frame is straight anymore. I've never been very interested in fatbikes, how does a rigid fatbike do on the trails around here?
