Don’t you guys know that all the Instagram bodybuilders are natural athletes who have access to top secret proprietary blends of supplements which are the only reason they are so jacked and tanned?

This was last week, today I try again at the start and see what I can do. That third one was rough for me. Try to ignore the frustration outburst at the end haha.

Nice work! I personally find chin ups really hard as my body has grown to hate the motion (compared to a pull up or a neutral grip) so anyone who does them gets a virtual hi-five from me.

I hate these banded deadlifts but I think they are helping a lot. Pulling a non-banded bar is feeling easier than ever. 475 banded felt like hell but 600 flys up.

Are you securing the band to something? I am doing banded deadlifts standing on the bands and as I get to around 300lbs worth of bands and higher, I can't keep my feet planted...It is driving me nuts.

Just under my feet. The band I use is two short wide bands tied together. No idea what the resistance is but I put it around 50lbs and it lifted it off the floor without stretching much. I'd estimate somewhere around 75-85 lbs resistance at the top of the pull.

My challenge is that I don't have weights, just bands right now so DL are next to impossible with any real resistance...I just end up throwing sets of 20 instead. ugh...

The bands work better for everything else than I was expecting though and I may have even added some size to my shoulders from the 5 day a week banded oh pressing.

My coach has me doing this because the resistance hits right where my sticking point is on heavy pulls. I love to hate it lol

Totally...if you can maintain momentum through the sticking point it is amazing how much lighter the weight feels.

I’m in the process of building a deadlift platform in the basement and I’m thinking about attaching some hooks to be able to do some banded work

We re-open tomorrow. There’s a rumor going around that our gym may be closing for good. He’s thousands behind in rent and other bills, apparently.
