Toytec TSB AAL question

Need some help with a strange question:

I want to remove the Toytec TSB AAL I have. Only thing is, I don't have the "stock" centering bolts.

When I remove the extra leaf, I plan to re-use the centering bolts that came with the Toytec AAL. Is there enough thread toward the bottom of the pin to allow me to use it, given that about 3/8" of steel will have been removed?

I can't remember whether the centering bolts are threaded all the way up their length.

Not to thread jack but why are you removing it? Unhappy or don't want the lift?

 

No problem... I removed the front lift (was set at 0.85" with eibach coils) due to front end growling. Now I don't like how high the back is. Figured I would revert to stock for a while and install air bags for extra support when towing/hauling my ATV.

Not to mention, I'm not a big fan of the vibe I have at take off due to the lifted rear end. I know a carrier bearing drop and/or shims are a possibility, but I have a little too much rake.

Late response. I removed mine for the same reason. The 1.5" was closer to 1.75" and the vibe at take off was worrying me. I bought the firestone air bags so I could adjust and gave me about 1" lift which is closer to what I wanted. And the ride is better.

 

That's what I had in mind. I'd like to run stock height now to avoid any vibes etc. I have seen that the minimum air bag pressure is 5 PSI for the ride rite bags - do you know what lift, if any, they provide at this minimum pressure?

 

Haven't actually measured it. Looked good with about 10 psi. My bilseins are at 1.75.
