Id like to add to that. Go check out platinum racing products info about OEM coil packs.

OEM coil packs by various manufactures are hard to beat.

So I've been on 2.0F, 91, 4.88s and 35" tires for a few days with about 40 miles. I'm not experienced enough with tuning to give allot of details but can say the truck drives better than it ever has. Considering tire size and armor weight I don't see how it could be any better given the engines rated power. I am expierenceing the stumbling startup but it does seem better compared to the first couple startups. Sounds like this problem is being worked on anyway and I dont have 100 miles on it yet.

Can somebody dumb down "tune pack" for me. Does this simply mean you have access to 2.0 and previous versions or will tune packs have options like 2.0 performance, towing ect? Or am I just way off on this concept all together? I would totally upgrade to VF tuner but don't quit understand it and have no interest in creating my own tunes.

If everyone is so easy, then where are the great products come from?

A success business is the one who can please the most difficult client.

There are no stupid questions, only the wise answers counts

There may be no stupid questions, but there are certainly stupid people that ask a lot of questions.

There is a difference between a difficult client and a pain in the ass client.

Difficult clients = complex problems, can be time consuming but also rewarding.
Pain in the ass clients = cost more in time and effort than the profit you will make from them.

I don't think that vlady is that kind of client. Without him I didn't know the new tune is lack of PI. A Toyota feature (D4 S) that you guys don't care.

Honestly I love the new tune, but in my mine couldn't stop worry about the carbon deposit to the engine valves. I just depend on Matt's explanations, and hopefully that's not a big deal.

That's why I think vlaldy want to find out the answer from data. He just can't stop!

The dude had valid concerns/questions, that's fine!
He just shouldn't have peppered the damn thread with a hundred posts of the same thing and got everyone all riled up. He should have gone through zendesk and handled the issue with Mat.

Are 2020 Tacomas supported yet? I just got out of my Tuned 2016 and I can’t stand the way the stock 2020 drives. I almost wish I didn’t buy a new truck yet! Lol

Well, no. But Vlady is the most recent/annoying one from the last few pages of posts. I'll admit that he/she brought up a valid concern, but did not handle the situation well.

If we were to take the time to address every one of the steaming piles that can be found throughout this forum and thread, we'd be here until the end of time.

My issue is not that he has some concerns, or that he is digging into the data on tune changes. Good for him.

My issue is his PI DI concern comes from a lack of experience, or having any experience at all, with tuning these systems and having experience with carbon build up and dual injection in general and that he has voiced this opinion over several pages riling up have the users here and having people second guess my work, second guess the safety etc.

All he did was compare old to new and tried to validate his concern with press room tech info.

His approach is what is the problem. This isn't the first time and won't be the last.

If anyone has any concerns, talk to me.

I thought my dongle shipped pretty quick. Took 3 days to get to Virginia from Utah. Not bad.
