What Have You Done To Your 2nd Gen Tacoma Today?

Because the HD are meant for 660 lbs while keeping 3” lift. I had less weight than stock in the back.

That seems about right. 2.5 at 500 and 2.75 at 660 are pretty much the same thing in my opinion. There are so many variables it’d be impossible to guarantee the same exact lift across the board. If your u bolts have enough remaining threads, can get these.

If they are black oxide coated they will rust as soon as they are exposed to rain unfortunately

 

For those of you with cut fenders what size trim did you use to put on the metal and flares? Cutting my fenders For 35s and I need some. My high clearance bumper came with some when I cut my bed, but they already fell off.

Replaced front pads and rotors with set from PowerStop. Yes, I've read the posts advising against drilled rotors but i don't do any towing or off-roading and these were in my price range. The old rotors were pretty scored so these should be a big improvement.

Was also going to replace the rear shoes but once I saw that there were more springs than a clock, I opted to simply spray them down with brake cleaner and call it a day.

As much as those lights cost all the hardware should be stainless steel ?

 

I jb weld aluminum plate right behind an opening similar to yours and mounted the camera to that. It allowed for adjustability, hidden behind the bumper, and a clear forward shot.

Did you have to Modify it any to make it fit or did it bolt right up? I always thought 4x4 frames were a little different than the Prerunner ones. And sweet thanks for that. I'll be getting those brakes next.

 

Have fun when those black oxide coated screws start rusting. The ones that came with some aftermarket parts for my motorcycle all have surface rust on them.
