They did say they were replacing the axle half shaft, so no worries there. I would drive it once again to make sure it didnt shake befor buying. Also it would need to pass MD inspection.

This.^^ The aftermarket goodies don't do much for the resale and for all they know you don't care for them.

    That's good.

Cool. Thanks for all the advice, it has been very helpful. I think I will try for $25K OTD and play the card of "I dont really like all the crap on it" see if they bite. If they want to sell it, maybe they'll move on price. They got this truck on trade from a single owner who bought a AMG 55 from them, so I know they didnt give him but maybe $20K on trade. If they dont like my offer, then they can pound sand!

Ok, I bought it last night. I ended up at $26k; they took off $1000, it was the best I could do, I'm pretty happy with it. BTW anyone interested in buying the diamond plated locking truck box??? I'd trade for a 09+ taillight swap!

Only if you want to wheel hard core. I feel LSD is way more than you need for even light trail use on a frequent basis. I have had both, and Lockers really only get used in the tough stuff, where the LSD always works. I like LSD's as they offer alot of traction with a very smooth daily operation. I guess it really depends on how much and how hard you plan to wheel the truck. JOE>
