My dog Tucker (lab/sharpe) hasn't been feeling well. He wasn't eating well and is lethargic.
So I got him into the Vet today.
After exam and xrays it shows he has a large mass on his Spleen.
Malignant or benign it doesn't look good.
    Now waitin on blood work.
An aside from the Dr. did not sound positive.

When I bought my house they had planted various things out in the middle of the yard, too. I mowed over some and pulled others out. Dedicated flower beds and things around the sides are fine, but I did not want an obstacle course to mow around. My lawn is already a pain. I have maybe 100x100 ft of flat lawn behind the house, then a 20 ft elevation drop that I need to weedwack because it's too steep, then another 50x100 or so feet of flat lawn again near the river. Garage is also built into a slope so mowing the side of that is tough.

Let me know what they end up saying. My dog had her spleen out in November. There's a lot of options other than just what the vets say

Thank you and thank you for that Info.
I trust the Dr's I'm using very much.
She told me they could do the surgery for about $1750, or go to a surgical center for 5-6K.
The hand out I got from them didn't look promising either way. I'll scan that and send that if you're interested.
The first x-rays showed a mass.
Now were just waiting on the blood results.
I'll pm you and let you know.

In spring 2009 my whole unit was told the company would not be giving raises that year (in March)..still got a bonus though as usual. Nobody loved it of course, but I just walked back to my desk, put my headphones on and went back to work. Several people were upset and complaining over their cubes to each other. OK that's cool with me, they put themselves on the block if layoffs hit our level and therefore my chances to stick around just went up!

JUSTIFY it especially. Not just because you think so, show me what you brought this year that means you deserve more than the norm.

I still cannot comprehend how that happened..though maybe they figured they could pay someone less to take over?

I've noticed the same, it's not so much annoying that I get the 3 of 5 as it is that the person who fucks off all the time gets that same 3.

I love it when people argue their raise against someone else that works there. Not that way dude. I got my promotion with showing market data and comparable jobs and skill sets.

Might want to check the available wiring behind your thermostat. The newer smart ones like the Nest need more than the two wires that you'll typically find on those old dial types.

Tell you what, now is the time to tour through Boston, traffic is absolutely incredible!

Speaking of, I've been meaning to take the motorcycle through some of the downtown streets that I'd normally avoid like the plague. I've always found city streets to be fun to ride when you're not trying to dodge cars.

Be careful - I think a bicyclist was killed the other day in the city despite the current lack of traffic. Masshole driving habits seem to continue unfazed by the virus...

yeah, that is an issue. Less traffic but people are still driving crazy except now they're going faster!
