I gave my old FROR shifters to Kent for helping with the tire carrier. Not sure if he's put them to use yet, might want to touch base with DiamondW. Might be able to pick them up from him for less than new.

Little this. Little that 4x4 Swap’d PreRunner
just installed mine this weekend. The red goes to a 12v and white to ground. I added an add a fuse for the 12v so it can only be actuated when the ignition is on. Super easy. Just be mindful of where you’re routing the wiring. I came up short my first time. Installed the switch where the normal 4x4 switch is.

Makes sense to you’ve just got the power/ground to hook up then plug into the oe harness?

Alright dumb question. Filled the tcase up on flat ground until it started to trickle out. Went for a drive and had this noise. I know the twin sticks are mounted to the tcase so noise is going to happen. Wondering if this is normal or not.

That sure does not sound like a case noise.
    Dont know man.
Sounds like an drive shaft, or CV shaft spinning.
Is it possible it's just "noise" and since you dont have any cover you can hear everything underneath.

    Always something.....

driveshaft just got repaired so it’s completely rebuilt. Trucks been sitting for a month and while it’s been sitting I ssound deadened shit. Hard to say what’s new or if it’s just more apparent in one area than another. Could be a cv which would be easy enough to fix. Also could be chain drive is noisier so... if it’s normal, great. Not worried about noise, just more of the noise indicates a need for maintenance.

I'm sure whatever it is if it's something serious it will get worse as time goes by.

Talked to a buddy who did the fj case swap. He mentioned it was the fact that the fj case is chain driven. Hopefully get some more clarification.

The twin sticks are transmitting more chain noise into the cab. The stock shifter has a big insulator that kills the noise.

Shoot I wish my single stick was that quiet. It rattles Every time I hit a bump I’m
Guessing it’s the arm we made for the shifter.
