Would it bother you to know that my mom woke me up at 2am to watch it burn in our parking area? In 1985? When were you born lol

Gotta say tho, for a real piece of shit car, it was fun to drive. 1500 cc 4 spd. Y'all thought ya needed high rpm in the turd gen to go...try 4800 rpm Redline in the Lada on a windy day for speed limit. Fun as he'll.

They burn well also, for those cold Russian winters

Mate, you are making me 10 years older...

It is a piece of shit, but nonetheless a very indestructible and always ready for apocalypse, just to misfire then and stall when it comes!

at 4800rpm you'll be barely making 70km/h... oh but those adjustable window triangles at the front for the airflow because A/C is only for capitalists swines:fenforcer:that's what makes it a timeless classic...

On turd gens, I swear that triangle is a solid piece of black plastic, to hide pedestrians and Corollas at intersections...

Hmmm, with that Beatsonic Do-dad it would be real reasy to install a birds-eye view camera system, similar to the 2020 Tacomas....But has a built in camera DVR and G sensor ....

    https://www.aliexpress.com/item/328...earchweb0_0,searchweb201602_,searchweb201603_

Or I could just install 2 more cameras in the rear bumper and still have CTC system and use a split screen control box and have a view of the rear camera and 2 bumper cameras at the same time on a split screen when reverse is activated or button pushed and a front camera...

    https://www.aliexpress.com/item/327...8.0&pvid=b0e0299b-95d8-42d0-b7f9-36a7f3aab485

Or can install both systems and switch in between the two with the beatsonic....

I think I'll install the split screen system first, then rout cables out the firewall so I could add the birds eye view system later on real easy....

Lol this was like research on suspensions... so many options that are so close but not quite right and once you put yur toe near the rabbit hole you're gone for a long time googling the crap outa stuff.

I'm curious about the Toyota stock birds eye view systems... in theory you could install the factory one... might use the OEM mirror cams (or just the body part if the cam is shitty)

    Back to my rabbit hole....

Ordered those two systems... now to wait on the slow boat from China....

Next item on that projects to-do list.... which originally sent me down this rabbit hole is a rear bumper...

Now if you'd just convert that gate shifter with a real one

Gate shifter? You referring to the rubber balls? I’m planning on buying some solid aluminum and making some. Need something skinny so they can throw past each other. May change the stock shifter to match if I have the tap to thread it.
