    I will be doing this lift on my truck soon, and upgrading from my spacers/blocks. 2016 4x4 2.7 mt access cab. steel front skid, swaybars deleted.Have in hand now: The Eibach pro lift shocks and coils all around, set at bottom perch, a HS 1.5'' 3 leaf progressive AAL, and a CB drop kit. What I am wondering about now is new UCAs. Are they really needed? Would I see much benefit from them? Or just stay with the stock ones?

    I keep seeing this kit and, for the money, it’s getting harder for me to ignore. Those of you with it, can you give me a no bullshit opinion of the ride? Is it pretty stiff??? Or is it pretty nice for a daily driver and weekend warrior? Should I wait for the new Eibach coilover? Thanks!

    Man that stance is perfect. What size tires are you running with that setup?

    Well, I'm pretty sold on this kit. Will eventually be ordering from HeadStrong. Couple of questions though;

    - If I choose the middle notch, what is needed to retain the factory rake in the rear? I'm most likely going with the HS 3-leaf AAL.
    - If I end up with a 2.5 inch lift, are new UCA's required or beneficial?
    - What about brake lines? Any extensions needed?
    - Do those of you that chose the middle notch like the ride, or is it to harsh?
    - How do the struts hold up in salty road conditions, rust wise?

    I occasionally drive "off road" (camping, fishing, etc.) and currently have 265/75r17 AT3W's. Any additional insight would be much appreciated.

    I'd say it is slightly stiffer but not harsh at all. In my opinion the truck had too much body roll and nose dive when braking with the factory setup. I'm happy with it and would say it is an improvement for those reasons.

    I feel like I got a rush job on the alignment at Firestone. I'm gonna take it to a different store and see if they can get it better, as several others seem to have gotten better numbers with factory UCA's. I may end up buying UCA, jury is still out.

    Did you have to do a CMC or anything to stuff the 285/70r17's?

    Just don't go too far West from there.

    PDX Spaceport. You will never find a more wretched hive of scum and villainy. We must be cautious.

    I did not. I put them on a couple of days before the lift and did some plastic trimming. It was very, very close to the cab mount then and would rub when turning into my driveway, steep hill. After the lift, I have no rubbing...could be a different story off road though

    Thanks for the reply, Most are suggesting to me to install the lift with the factory UCAs, get an alignment, and see how it is from there... I think I will do that before buying the aftermarket UCAs.
