I had really good luck with Kenny Jenkins Tree Service out of Culpeper. They did some work for me when I was interning with the GC at a UMW project.

Looks like this is my first post here...I'm originally from the Boston area, went to UMW starting in 2014 and graduated in 2018. Bought my 2017 SR5 DCSB 4x4 in November of 18 after I moved back to MA

For those of you who kept your OE tires and rims: how are you storing them? I’m thinking of building something like these to get them up off the floor and out of the way. As a side note, I would love to have a shed!

We had a willow tree fall on the house last year. Tricky job requiring rigging a hoist since it spanned a koi pond and large deck. Had to get it done quickly so I called everyone within 30 miles. Got 4 prices…$1850, 1750, a squishy 1650, and 925. Definitely pays to shop around.

We had a tree come down on our house in 2017, the company that came out is the same that gave us this quote...had them quote us some additional trees the first time but had a different company do it because of the time it would take to get on their schedule.

But as we discussed the trees we want to take out now, and our eventual plan, the cost of the other changes came into perspective.

Guess I'll get a few more quotes and get a feel for the cost of the dirt and excavation work, and the cost of the garage/shed/workshop the wife wants ;-)

For me, getting prices from an arborist and site contractor is pretty straightforward …make some calls. Getting the wife to want a 12x20 workshop, now that’s another matter.

Take this for what you will. If you have a few to clear I’d consider having a loaded come in. The operator can push the trees over and the stumps can be cut off and removed or birdied. It’s much easier and cleaner this way than felling the trees and grubbing the stumps or grinding them.

Only three and they're 50+ ft or taller and close to the house or neighbor's property line and current 8*12 shed, so they need to be cut down to about 10" to be under the area to fill.

Which, first tree quote included mulching to cover the fill dirt where needed.

    Checking in.

Truck is still in the shop. Might get it back this week. Other than that, Wife has been adding some miles to the jeep which is good.

Today is the first day I’ve driven my taco in about 2/3 weeks. I drove my youngest and my wife up to the elementary school for a modified CrossFit workout at the track; pyramid of run and either pushups, squats, and burpees (forgot how much those suck).

I just installed new shelves cantilevered on supports like those posts, that might work for tires...but I don't have my new shed yet sooooo I don't have any advice for storing tires (current shed is chocked to the brim).

    15876730901718104658406047145915.jpg

The new one is about to be ordered (0% 12 months before May 4th), just gotta get trees down, fence pulled, old shed moved (somewhere?), backfilling and levelling, fence reinstalled, before I can get the old shed reset to face the street and new 12*20 shed along the side of it, facing the deck and garage opening (the one thing the house is missing is a garage) toward the street. Can you tell I'm excited!

It's going good. Busier than ever at work. A massive storm rolled through on Easter, and I was without power for a couple of days.

    I like the comma.

Maybe the seeing the recent vid (and drinking) what a dam good friend of of both combat and non Cbt.. His Son is currently doing now after many years of the Infantry. Kid started out as a sniper with the 1st. ID, then to the 3rd. ID. Because they wanted him bad. Young man has moved on in his career from Enlisted, to a Warrant officer, as a Blackhawk driver. Right the Eff on! Reminisces and drinks more Jack An coke.

    That is all good peoples!

    I can't hear you.... You're breaking up

Apparently everyone was having issues because no one could respond for a week.

Anyone headed towards Hampton, VA anytime soon? Or @pabstsmeared coming up to the burg for anything soon? I have a grille surround that needs to make it to Hampton for @TigerTacoma to pick up down there.
