You can also get LED headlights on the TRD Sport. I love mine they were a non-negotiable option on a new vehicle for me.

You honestly dont even notice the arex logo. In pics you do because its front and center but from any kind of distance it just looks kinda like a little design and honestly your eyes are attracted to the led bar and you dont think twice about the logo. At least that's been my experience

My TRD OR has the LED headlights. No premium or tech. Only add-ons on the sticker were the LED headlights and all weather floor mats.

The PRO don't have the chrome strip behind the running lamp like the TRD / Limited do. The Pro is fully black. It kills me because I like the full black look of the Pro but can't do the Pro logo on a non-Pro truck. I keep waffling back and forth which ones to order.

    You'll need a aftermarket harness.

Glad I'm not the only one who feels that way. In the 2020 headlight mega thread guys with prior 2020s are putting the TRD PRO ones on sports and stuff, talk about even more tacky.

I mean its straight forward / easy install if you want to do it, just need to order the harness (few guys here make/sell them). IDK for $1300 I'd rather have a sweet set of new SCS wheels/tires or suspension upgrade, but I get it, I am in love with my LEDs.

Guess I’ll be hunting for aftermarket then. Can’t in good conscience throw out that kind of cash when there was that much of a cheaper option. Kind of pisses me off...

Don't blame ya man, I hate Tacomabeast on principle but I know he sells a decent set of sequentials for half the price.

A lot of the aftermarkets are pretty pricey too, around 1k or so. Priced around a lot of the higher end ones, which isn't terrible for OEM parts.

Why are the OEM parts almost three times as expensive from the factory (~$1,300 vs. $450)?

$485 option on all models except the SR and SR5. You do not need any other package, although they do include them with some packages such as technology package with options and premium package with options.

I have an SR5, so I guess I'm screwed. Super-expensive aftermarket LEDs for me, I guess.

Ever price out how much the tonneau cover would cost you? Same thing, its like a $650 factory option, but would cost you 3-4 times that to source all the parts from the dealer.

Halogen from Olathe is $300 per, so it's more like a $600 vs $1200 for LED vs Halogen, so $600 compared to $485 or whatever as an addon.

Because you're buying the headlights outright. As an option, you're removing your factory one and upgrading to it.

Ah, makes more sense. Thanks for the explanation. I'll shoot for aftermarket LEDs once I trip over a bucket of gold.
