Any opinion on the B-wing set released in 2014? 75050?

Also, got lost in Bricklink earlier looking at other Classic Town sets to go with what I have. Prices are ridiculously tempting.

    Think I'm becoming addicted.

Should I get the 20th Slave I, or get the Black Ace TIE interceptor and try to get the UCS Slave I when I start having room for UCS sets?

Or say fuck it and just buy all of it.

I'm a big fan of buying them all. But I'd be selective on what retired sets you want to buy. They can get very expensive.

Retired sets is where I go knockoff when needed to avoid the scalper tax. Robie House was going for over $600, but I paid about 15% of that for a version that still gave me all the enjoyment. I know some are violently opposed to Chinese sets, but I'm not too interested in paying for someone else's kids college fund.

I'm going to do a few of the big ones in a couple years when I get the display situation sorted out. Star Destroyer, Executor, Venator, etc.

I'm a purist, so I don't buy any knock-off sets. But I do shop around for deals. Sometimes buying a set used can save a fair amount and you still get the genuine Lego experience.

Decided to go ahead and rebuild my old pirate ships. This is tub number three. Thankfully found most of the parts so far, but will have to get a few off Bricklink. What I'd give for a table large enough to do this...

LOL. Getting PTSD form when I did this with my wife's old set for our son. I had never had any of the pirate series, so I had to do a lot of research. Tuned out the the Island kit was mixed in. And some of the Castle, too, I think. Someone in this thread helped me figure it out.

This was trying to unscramble the PD and the FD:

One of the retired sets I’ve got my eyes on is the Slave I UCS. Haven’t had the itch to snag one yet, tho most only seem to be about $70-80 over the original price

Sweet, I never had the Caribbean Clipper. Would really like to pick up that and the Skull's Eye Schooner someday, though the used prices on the latter are absurd.

I have a couple castle that is like to eventually rebuild as well, but likely not soon after this mess.

Is that the Galaxy Explorer in the back of your second pic? Really cool that you still have the box.
