My front cam tabs are seized in the bushings and I can't get a proper alignment. I am hoping it is just the front two I am going to have to cut through...

You should also do research on how regearing will affect the Odometer of the vehicle if you plan on actually selling it one day. On my truck 2011 V6 6-spd manual, my odometer reads more than what I have driven. This depends on where the speed sensors are on the truck. Manuals are different than the autos. One thing that bugs me about toyotas is the inability to actually tell the computer what gear/ tire combo you are running.

I put this spreadsheet together a while ago. My tire/ gear combo is 4.56 and 255/85/16 (33's). I could increase to 35's and make my odo and actual miles driven match more closely. But I don't want the added wear on all the components.

The cam sleeves were seized in the bushing. I was just using the blades I already had, I'm pretty sure there are better ones available for cutting through the sleeves that are much faster.

Now I'm really confused....I plan on regearing my truck very soon with 4.56 gears and am running the same size tires are you are. I too have a 6MT (2015). Right now with my 3.73 gears and 33" tires my odo/trip show lower than I have actually driven. So when I fuel up/do oil changes I always multiply my number by 1.07 (7% is what I've determined my speedo to be off by) to get the real numbers. So the part I am confused about is that after I regear, my odo (and speedo?) will read higher than I have actually driven? Why is this? Doesn't the truck track distance driven at the wheels/tires? I'm so confused...

Stalled with the passenger shock bolt that won't come out. The thread end is facing the bed side. I may need to drill an "access" hole in the bed to knock it out... :annoyed:

Next, I'll grind off the OEM shackle hangers. Yeah sparks!

Ok, I was adding vs. subtracting. So you are correct with stock gearing and 33's, your ODO mileage will read lower vs actual miles traveled. Due to the fact that the tire is larger and covers more ground per rev.

Now the sheet makes a little more sense.

For 33's and 4.10's, your ODO is nearly matched with the stock calibration. Increasing to 35's and 4.10's your odo should still read less since the larger tire is exceeding the gear selection.

For 33's and 4.56, the opposite takes over. The tire size is essentially too small for the gear ratio, so my ODO mileage reads more. It has been a while since I checked this, so I could be wrong (i have given up caring). Trade off is that my truck crawls like a tractor in 4lo.

Also on the freeway, my speedo will read 80mph when I am actually going 70.6 mph. I actually need an inline speedo calibration with a multiplier of 0.883745131. I have found an $80 Amazon unit that will work for the manual trans.

Lets say you had to take your snowblower into the shop. Would it still fit in the back?
