I am so sorry, Susan. What difficult times these are, especially for our parents.

Stay safe out there folks. We are not through this yet.

    Good morning Susan, gang,
Susan, hope the rig works for your Annie.
Social S check today, Stimulus check also, don't really need that, although helps me get my money back from the septic tank pump out and the new windows, both coming to over $1200.
Four nose bleeds yesterday, did make an appointment for next Monday, don't have much faith the Dr. will do anything. The ER visit 10 days ago showed my blood pressure up quite a bit from last Fall. Not a productive day, did get a small load of firewood and split some cedar with my wood splitter, marked one log for cutting before I bled again. Cut the damn thing off!
Poor Repo pup, fell asleep watching the early news, so we both ate after PM.
    Have a good day all.
    Duane

Out splitting firewood with my hydraulic splitter. Let's see, 1, 2, 3,...., yep, still have all my fingers. Got one between the wood and the base plate, reversed the ram before I broke my finger, then 30 seconds later while moving a round in my truck bed, jammed a thumb between the round and some hardware on the bed rail. That hurt more, nail is only a little discolored. So far. Time for lunch.
    Still no nose bleed today.
    Duane

I could tell stories about hydraulic splitters and mangled fingers. Or mangled fingers from rolling big hunks of wood around to get them onto hydraulic splitters. :anonymous:

Not really counting - I think Lynn is more aware than I am. End of June so something like 69 or 70 at this point. Focused right now on putting the college in position to weather the storm of another semester, at least, in an online environment with no dorm/meal revenues, just in case. Interestingly, our numbers for next year are tracking significantly above last year at this time. I think people are looking at staying local and looking for lower cost alternatives.

Well I’m sure you will have everything set and aligned when it’s time.
    I have no doubt

Sorry to hear about the continued nosebleeds Duane, hope they figure them out for you. I use some stuff called Ayr Gel sometimes in winter when the air is really dry. It's available over the counter. Intended to keep the sinus passages moisturized. My parents have a humidifier running fulltime in their apartment in the winter. It's still running now, what with the strange weather we've been having. Freezing temps again this morning.

Speaking of my parents, we took my mother to the ENT to have the packing removed from her sinus passages. She's much happier now. We also gave them a 'Happy Day' present, an Apple iPad. They're cooped up in their apartment for two weeks, and we haven't been able to get in to see them for weeks before that and who knows how much longer. I'm hoping I can teach my dad enough to get video chats working with them, so they can at least see family that way. We started the process last night -- let's just say it's a work in progress!:)

    Morning folks :hattip:.
How is the auto repair work going Mike? Busy? Before the "lockdown" the wife was getting letters and calls about wanting to put her in a new car because her lease is up in September and she has low mileage on it. Now, nothing. She tried calling to see if she could get an offer and they never called back. Waiting to see if it gets better when things start re-opening:notsure:

Glad you were able to get supplies for your MIL Mark. Sometimes it's the little things in a persons life that make them happiest :D.

Hope your Dad picks up how to video chat as it is a great way to see family and find out what is going on with them all. Technology is wonderful.

Stay SAFE and be WELL all and your families as well.

Millenials don't appreciate good humor like it was back then. Now if they don't curse throughout the whole joke it isn't funny. Don't get me wrong, I do laugh at quite a few of those jokes, but those were the good old days with Jerry Lewis, Dean Martin, Don Rickles, Rodney Dangerfield, Buddy Hackett, Abbot and Costello, and the list goes on.....
