Hyperbole, get into it. In all seriousness though- this is an unprecedented situation. They let people go that were months away from retirement.

Same here. But it worked out for him. His severance will pay him up to the point where he'd be eligible for SS. He was ready to take voluntary layoff two weeks ago and was told to ride it out...

Pro tip: Your company doesn't give a shit about you.

Everyone would wise to remember that when it comes to any negotiations or "loyalty".

Well hell, I didn’t realize the meet was still going on this month :annoyed:. I’ll definitely be at the next one.

I dont need the shroud, but if noone claimed it I will. I'll toss it in my Camaro as it has an empty whole right now.

Oh ok, I hadn’t been active much the past couple of weeks. I saw a few comments and thought I had missed something.

So, who's got a 3d printer, and what is it? Would you buy it again?

Now that I'm no longer employed, I don't have access to a printer. I always scoffed at them, thinking they were a giant waste of time... Until I had use of one.

ive got two ender 3 pros, they are just collecting dust but its nice to know if i need something i can fire them up and get to work.

Yes id buy it again but instead of buying 2 decent ones id just get one feature packed one, like a Prusa.

I'm trying to decide between the E3Pro or the E5. The price is a little better on the 3 though.

There are both good printers. The ender 5 is a little more money but probably the one I would go with. It has all the upgrades of the ender 3 pro but it has a sturdier frame and a larger build area. The larger build area is the big thing for me. I think right now they are only like $30 difference.
