PRODUCTION. I like that word. Doing it Henry Ford style/ Assembly line?

I still have a couple months based on the approximate time and being on the bottom of the list../

I think you are going to have issues with the bearings before the rest of the driveline.

true. trying to figure out if extending the driveline and inch would cure vibes. it worked for a similar truck as mine.

@White lightning boosted Are you 2wd/PreRunner? This is the driveline spacer, right? I just did mine last weekend. It cured this "shuttering" feel during acceleration from a standstill.

    1" driveline spacer
    20200423_140951.jpg

It shifted the driveshaft forward an inch. Took a photo of my carrier bearing. It bolts closer to the middle/backhalf of the slot versus the front of the slot (previously).
    20200423_141044.jpg

Ultimately, it shoved the splined end of the driveshaft back into the transmission. The black dust cap used to be exposed before the spacer. Now it is "sleeved" back into the aluminum transmission output shaft.
    20200423_141314.jpg

I wish I went with a .5" or .75" spacer instead but TrailGear only had 1" or 1.5". My truck mallcrawls so I'm not overly concerned with full compression of the rear suspension causing problems.

My truck has about a 4" lift in the rear. It got rid of the takeoff stutter/shutter....but i still have vibes but that's due to DS angles.

man! so helpful! ill measure mine. looks like you have no additional carrier spacing, correct?
have you pulled a string from rear zerk to front on the shaft? can help achieve a left to right correctness on carrier placement.

There's still a smidge of slotted spacing left for adjustment. Maybe 1/4" or so.

Unfortunately, I dont have photos or measurements of how it looked when stock. I recall checking out a PreRunner in a parking lot and remember that the black dust boot on the DS was definitely less exposed compared to mine (pre-spacer).

I saw this one a while ago. I should add it. You are right!

You indeed can. Water don't care which way it's pumping out towards as long as it has the propulsion behind it to keep it moving.

What happened? How did you install it?

Dude. I am SO excited for you!

I wish that ALL shops and workers were like this and less about the profit margins.

This is the proper direction. "WE" had it installed with the long part/ spring in the filler neck. Appropriate direction is with the spring in the metal/ facing the engine.

The excuse was, "There wasn't a picture of it installed properly in the instructions. And the instructions weren't clear. I thought it went the same way the original one did."

Anyways, proper direction should be in the OP. Even seasoned vets asking their friends and family can overlook that.

Proper direction is facing the passenger side of the vehicle. <-I . Also take note of the small vent hole. It should be at the top, in this case. Inline with the mounting hole for the top bolt.

    I'm not so sure here..

A properly functioning cooling system should function just fine regardless of what position the vent hole. Mine is mounted at the 6 o clock position currently I believe and I have zero issues with the cooling system.

So you guys installed the t stat like this |-> ??

I'm not 100% sure if theres issues where the vent hole is. All directions I came across were stating it is supposed to be at the 12 o'clock position. Air pocket vent...

Yes. We installed it |-> facing the drivers side with the spring in the hose down spout.
