Notice the VIN is not a 17 digit though it is an 81. It is an import (likely legal). The BJ in the beginning of the VIN, specifically the "b" denotes the engine type as being the b series diesel. Parts can be had for those but usually require shipping in through Canada sources, Cruiser outfitters and some of the other older LandCruiser specialty shops might have some also.

I'm kinda surprised they turned an import BJ40 into a crawler. The links look interesting. I'm not sure of the pricing though, seems too high. They make no mention of title status.

Heck Yea! The gun club that I go to is re-opening on Monday (with social distancing guidelines implemented of course.) Going to have some beautiful weather next week so I might take an extended lunch break one day, get outside and put some lead on paper!

Guys, is there a 'good way' to look at BLM land on a compooter? Or do you just have to drive out there and figure it out? I've found the 'Colorado Interactive Map', but I can't even figure out to get it to show me BLM land boundaries. I just want to find some neat-o places to camp

BLM doesn't do MVUM to my knowledge. Or at least I've never seen them. That's only the FS.

BLM has their own maps, which I've found the best for BLM land, but you have to buy them. Not sure if there's BLM overlays for any of the apps.

Unless you know GIS, there's not one good place to look at the data. You can mix switching between Outly, GaiaGPS, BLM.gov/visit and such... Also, BLM doesn't have great data for Colorado or most other states in a digital form. Unlike the other federal agencies that are top down and deliver National datasets out to the public, BLM is the opposite and works UP from the field office -> State -> National. Most of the time the data dies at the state level because it doesn't meet the data standards to make it into the national dataset for public consumption. Hell, even working directly with the BLM for Recreation.gov I couldn't get data out of some states.

Here's a web map for the Ground Transportation Linear Features (GTLF).

If you know your way around GIS, you can export the data and get it into Gaia. Now making it useful, styling it, searching... that's another story.

My buddy and I built a go kart for his kids with the 6.5hp one. Even with my fatass on it the kart was capable of scary speeds even with short gearing for a smaller motor. his kids were too scared to drive it

Ok, so things have changed a little bit since last I looked deeply at this... It's still not "easy", but follow along with the adventure.

    Colorado Interactive Map:
    https://blm-egis.maps.arcgis.com/apps/webappviewer/index.html?id=59bfb9b9406d4a409e2f510bda9e409f

On the top right corner, click the Layers icon to expand the list on the right side of the screen.
    Screen Shot 2020-04-24 at 16.10.47.jpg

Then scroll through the entire list enabling all of the layers I have selected in the image above.
Also, at the VERY bottom, there is a "Surface Management Agency" layer. Add this one as well.

Then you will need to ZOOM IN on the map before the trails show up. You'll see when it happens.

BE PATIENT. Their web servers aren't the best machines so it takes a second or many seconds for the data to load and display on the map.

You'll end up with something like this:
