I love my new truck but miss my Tacoma
I ordered new tires for my bike from Amazon about 4 weeks ago and they just came in.
    o_O

Had to reorder my tubes because they canceled that part of my order! :annoyed:

Biking in boston is sketchy. I'd do it again though. Manchester, NH was absolutely the most terrifying experience I have had on a bicycle.

I used to avoid Amazon for bike stuff but honestly after getting pedals, tires and tubes, etc - I am not turned off by the quality of the Chinesium stuff on there. You get what you pay for, for sure. LBS has a lot to contend with nowadays.

Both can be done if you argue it properly and can back it up. I'm in a large company but in my unit of about 100 I'm top 5 production easily for one thing.

What sucks is one year I got 4 and I really had to document things but was able to..no real discussion had to happen. The next year I got 3 because "you raised the bar for yourself last year".

In other words, doing well above and beyond the following year was what I was expected to do even though many do the bare minimum. Yeah...

    Yup.
My son is making regular trips in from the outskirts with the kids and doing walking tours. Cycle through Boston would be a great idea.

Masshole driving habits imo, is intrinsic to survival on a highway system built over existing roads designed for horse and buggy from the 1800s.

Yup! I was painting yesterday and pulled the tstat to only see the two wires and quickly started to read. Looks like I run a “c wire” or do a lot of work to make the newer models work off two wires and lose some of the functions that are appealing. Man house work is so fun haha

some don’t need it. But look at it this way, you already have the cable run. If it was me I’d tie it to 18/3 and pull it through and get a c wire that way.

my Honeywell needed it. But as part of trying to fix the nest shit show I ran one. That took me all of 3 minutes but my house is small and one zone.

    Seriously!

Well at least they get a early 2nd round pick. Surprisingly, no safeties or tight ends picked in 1st round.

Been looking for a boat on Craigslist for a few weeks now. Quite a few pop up that I’m interested in but when I email them through Craigslist email I get a response that says either they are at work, busy, or away. Send me your email so I can answer any questions. I don’t because I feel that’s a scam. Anybody have that problem trying to buy something on Craigslist?

I must have bought at least a dozen things off craigslist and enquired about two dozen more, NEVER have I gotten a response like that. Unless something changed in the last week or two, I think you are thoughts about a scam are dead on.

Try Facebook marketplace. It’s tied to an account so it’s more likely to be legit. Sold a few bikes that way they went fast and no hassle. Had a few people from Brazil about the road bike but otherwise it went cleanly.

    That's a scam, don't give them your e-mail address.

I don't recall who said it here, but I put my wheels/tires back up on CL now that stimulus checks are coming and they sold within a couple days. They sat without a bite for months before COVID.

Unfortunately most people in this thread don't talk/care about football but keep it up as a few of us like it and us Pat's fans get bashed all day long in the NFL thread. Lots of haters!!!

    What’s up folks !
Hope everyone is safe from the virus.
Anyone have any recommendations on a good all season / highway tire. My old Chevy needs a new set of shoes. The truck does about 40-50k miles a year.
I’ve had these cooper at3 4s on for alittle over a year. Great tire but I’m looking to change it up and get more of a highway tire. Hopefully they will last a bit longer.
    Thanks
