All beer taste better out of a bottle. It's just a hassle anywhere off the beaten track.

Since we're on the topic....I prefer cans while camping. Pack easier, crush down for less room in the trash, don't need to worry about glass breaking in the cooler or out in the woods, no need to keep track of a bottle cap.

What we really need to see is some next level shit of a beer tap on a truck.

It all comes down to who does the warranty and how much the customer spends in a year.

Pressure wash 2 8Pak racks of Miller XMT 350`s leave them in a damp unheated shop over night .

Next Morning fire them up first rack explodes not to be outdone do the second rack now not every machine exploded All Covered under warranty to the tune of $35,000.00 plus to it was all done

Well I finally learned my lesson the hard way of ensuring your welding gas is closed at the end of the day. Just had it filled a week ago and came out to it already empty today. Forgot to close the valve yesterday. Whoops.

Any idea where it’s leaking from? 95% of the time mine leaks is where the fitting screws into the tank. Got to be TIGHT.

Not a clue, everything was nice and tight. I don’t want to crank on it too much since it is only brass fittings. I was wanting to jump up in tank size anyways, so I’ll go have that talk with Roberts oxygen tomorrow.

Most times once will do it then we do have slow learners .

I am in such a habit of turning cylinders off if I walk away for any reason or walk past I check.

Once left the welder powered up for a week but the cylinder was off.

Time for the soap bubbles !!

I would say at the flow meter or flow gauge any of the threaded connections.

I have some of these at work and can snag one. It’s magnetic and can put it on top of the welder as a visual reminder. I have to flip it at work when opening and closing a safe so I’ll just continue that discipline at home. Boom.

I learned my lesson a while ago, now I try to keep a tidy shop. I close my valve as part of putting the welder away. It gets shut off before I coil the cables on the cart so if I see loose cables, then I check the tank.

That’s what I’ve been doing for the past year or so, I was really good about it. The bumper build just threw me off my schedule

Thanks, going to paint it Saturday assuming weather holds out! Will start on body filler on my bedsides too. With any luck truck will be done by next weekend, except minor things like wiring in license plate lights.

I had a job in high school working with oxygen cylinders. We would test equipment with soapy water. put some in a spray bottle and look for bubbles. On another note, my previous welder had a small leak at the quick disconnect where the gas connected to the welder.
